PsycReality signs MoU with Murdoch University

PsycReality, an emerging force in technology-driven mental health solutions, has formalized a landmark partnership with Murdoch University Australia, Dubai campus through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant step forward in bridging innovative technology with academic research in the field of mental health.

The MOU was signed by Bilal Awan, CEO of PsycReality, and Professor Michael Gilmore, Dean of Murdoch University Dubai, in a ceremony also attended by Dr. Magdalina Mosanya, Discipline Lead of Psychology at the university, and Dr. Amir Rizwan, Advisor to PsycReality on Clinical Affairs, reflecting the depth of academic and clinical commitment both organizations bring to this collaboration.

At the heart of this partnership is a shared vision to strengthen the research paradigm surrounding mental health. Both organizations have committed to collaboratively publishing research papers that explore and advance the development of evidence-based scenarios and solutions across a broad spectrum of mental health conditions. By combining PsycReality’s innovative approach to immersive mental health interventions with Murdoch University’s academic rigor and psychological expertise, the collaboration is poised to produce work of genuine clinical and societal significance.

What makes this partnership particularly far-reaching is its scope beyond the Dubai campus. The collaboration is set to expand to Murdoch University’s other global campuses, creating an international network of research and innovation that will bring diverse perspectives and expertise to the table. This global dimension underscores the ambition of both parties not merely to address regional mental health challenges, but to contribute meaningfully to the global conversation on psychological wellbeing.

This partnership represents a compelling model of how technology-focused organizations and academic institutions can come together to produce outcomes greater than either could achieve alone, grounding innovation in research, and elevating research through real-world application.
